Once upon a time, there were two men walking along a
lonely path one summer day. Soon the heat of the sun was too unbearable as
their sight caught up with a large tree close by, then they threw themselves on
the ground to rest under the shade of the tree.
Gazing into the bare branches of the tree, one of the men said to the other; “what a useless tree this is, it doesn’t even have fruit or nuts that we can eat and we cannot even use its wood for anything, a waste it is rooted to the soil nutrients.”
“Don’t be so ungrateful,” rustled the tree in reply. “I am being extremely useful to you at this very moment, shielding you from the scorching heat of the sun and yet you call me a good-for-nothing!”
Lesson: “All of the creations made by God has a good
purpose”
